CHALET

Spacious and comfortable chalet with a sunny (11 m wide) living, a cozy fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen/bar area, and a dining table that easily seats 10.

 

The large windows and adjacent balcony offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the village of Morgins.

The chalet has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a large playroom with 2 extra beds, and a Ping-Pong table. You’ll also find: a sauna, 2 flat screen TVs, Wi-Fi, DVD,  a large side-by-side fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, Nespresso machine, filter coffee machine, toaster, washing machine, dryer,  a cloakroom and a garage/ski room. There is outside parking space for two cars.

LOCATION

The chalet is situated on a south facing hill just above the village center of Morgins and 150 meters from the Corbeau ski slope.

​

Morgins is a small village with a ski lift on either side. Both lifts provide access to the ski slopes of the Portes du Soleil. The Corbeau ski lift via the slopes of Chatel/Superchatel/Torgon and the Foilleuse ski lift via the slopes of Morgins/Champoussin.

If there is ample snow, it is possible to ski from the Corbeau, through the village, to the Foilleuse. A shuttle bus runs between the two ski lifts, every 10 minutes. To walk home ask the bus driver to stop at “Le Virage” (one stop after the Corbeau lift). From there you can walk between the houses to the road above, which leads to the chalet.

The center of Morgins with all amenities (shops, restaurants, ice rink, tennis courts, outdoor pool, mountain bike and ski rental) has ample parking and is easily accessible (15 min walk, 5 min by car).

​

Ski lessons for the smallest children are given in a separate area that is located between the Foilleuse and the Corbeau. There is also a restaurant on site. Ski lessons for the older children start at the top of the Foilleuse.

​

The road to the chalet is rather steep,  but paved and cleaned regularly. Snow chains are necessary in case of heavy snow or ice.
